The McHale Inex Alpineer Bayonet is a premium, expedition-grade backpack offering approximately 115 liters (7,000 cubic inches) of capacity with the lid attached. Designed for heavy loads and long expeditions, it features a removable 7075-T6 aluminum frame and a unique convertible Bayonet system that allows the pack to transform into a smaller summit pack by removing the frame extensions, repositioning the shoulder straps, and replacing the lid with one of the included summit flaps.
Built for durability, the pack uses 1,000D, 840D, 500D, and 210D high-tenacity Cordura nylon with a reinforced double-bottom construction. The pyramidal pack shape enhances stability under load, while the independently functioning stabilizer straps and shoulder-strap adjusters provide exceptional carrying comfort and load control.
