Technical Overview
Aventure M comes out of the box as a Class I ebike, with pedal assist. An Aventon throttle can be purchased and easily installed on Aventure M to convert to Class 2. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX6-rated standard. An IPX6 rating means the bike is protected against high-pressure water streams from any angle. This provides strong water resistance, so you can confidently ride in heavy rain or through puddles and mud. However, IPX6 does not mean waterproof—Aventon ebikes are not designed for full submersion. Avoid using a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike, as pressurized water can still damage components.
